Longgang District Key Laboratory of Intelligent Digital Economy Security
The Longgang District Key Laboratory of Intelligent Digital Economy Security was officially established in November 2023. It is headed by Associate Professor Wu Baoyuan from the School of Data Science, with Professor Li Haizhou serving as the academic leader and Professor Zhang Dapeng as the chair of the academic committee. At present, the laboratory has formed a research team of 46 people, including 14 core researchers, comprising 2 professors, 4 associate professors, and 8 assistant professors. Among them, there is 1 academician, 5 scientists ranked in the world's top 2% scientist list released by Stanford University, and all 14 core researchers have been selected as high-level talents in Shenzhen. The team also includes 3 administrative assistants and technical support staff.
The Key Laboratory adheres to the core R&D philosophy of "theory leading technology, technology promoting application, application supporting industry". Focusing tightly on the digital economy, it uses advanced artificial intelligence as the core supporting technology. It aims at three typical digital economy security issues: privacy leakage, copyright infringement, and low data quality. The lab is developing core theories and algorithms to ensure digital economy security and promoting the construction of an intelligent digital economy security platform. This will provide effective technical solutions and tools to enhance the security of the digital economy, contributing to the healthy development of the digital industries in Shenzhen and Longgang District.
