CUHK-Shenzhen 2024 Mid-Autumn Gala
On September 13th, organized by the Office of Student Affairs in association with the Student Union, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen’s Mid-Autumn Gala commenced grandly amidst the anticipation of numerous on-campus and off-campus audiences.
The festivities kicked off with a two-hour immersive fair, an intro that featured a mix of traditional and modern attractions. The immersive fair scene is decorated with lights, creating a strong Mid-Autumn atmosphere.
The robot ‘bursting out’ from a naked-eye 3D at the Mid-Autumn Festival Gala. The fashion show titled "Behind ‘Longwards’" featured little robots and professors on the runway together, giving the entire performance both an academic and technological feel.
One of the gala's most heartwarming moments was the fashion show thoughtfully organized by the Student Union featuring campus security and property management staff. This special segment reflected the University's deep respect for every worker's contribution and embodying the spirit of humanistic care.
The dance drama " Picture in Mind · Ballad of Loulan," offered a captivating visual and auditory experience to the audience. By integrating art, technology, and culture, the gala brought a unique cultural feast to faculty and students.
The Mid-Autumn Gala was hosted by a diverse international team of eight students from China, Brazil, France, and Syria, showcasing the University’s global perspective and commitment to cultural diversity and inclusiveness.
