CUHK-Shenzhen Holds the 4th International Partner Day
The 4th International Partner Day Opening Ceremony
CUHK-Shenzhen has successfully held the 4th International Partner Day from 12 Nov. to 18 Nov. The 7-day activity included an opening ceremony and 85 information sessions, in which 129 representatives from 79 world-renowned universities participated. Although this annual event was held online due to the impact of the pandemic, nearly one thousand students have taken part to show their enthusiasm and interest to learn more about study abroad opportunities.
The participated universities include Yale University, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Pennsylvania, University of California, Berkeley, University College London, The London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, University of Toronto, National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Australian National University, etc.

In the Opening Ceremony on 12 Nov. 2021, Professor Shiping Zhu, the Vice President for External and Student Affairs of CUHK-Shenzhen, delivered a welcome speech. He extended a warm welcome to all the partner universities and introduced the latest updates of CUHK-Shenzhen. At the end of the speech, he indicated the importance of cross-cultural communication and international educational resource sharing for the university and students.

Three representatives of partner universities are invited to deliver speeches via zoom.
They are Prof. Peter Mascher, Vice-Provost, International Affairs of McMaster University, Prof. Richard Follett, Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor & Associate Vice President (International) from the University of Sussex and Prof. Jun Li from the Department of Engineering of the National University of Singapore. They all believed that CUHK-Shenzhen and the partner universities would deepen the current cooperation and develop various collaborations to benefit more students from both sides in the future.
