The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shen Zhen (CUHK(SZ)) - International Quantum Academy (IQA) Joint Quantum Lab was established in December 2022. The joint lab will operate under the principles of friendly consultation, mutual benefit, resource sharing, and common development. Both parties will leverage their respective strengths to carry out comprehensive cooperation through talent cultivation, joint research, and other forms of collaboration.

The joint laboratory will jointly train doctoral students/postdoctoral fellows under the guidance of supervisors from both sides, aiming to conduct research at the forefront of academia. The joint laboratory will also engage in scientific research activities and cultivate high-level talents in the fields of quantum information mathematics foundation, quantum state control, quantum algorithms, and quantum software.
