On October 25, 2023, QS released the 2024 Master’s in Business Analytics Ranking. The MSc in Data Science programme offered by the School of Data Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) continued to top the ranking in China and rose to the 7th place in the world in terms of the single item “employability”, among the Global Top 10.

Compared with 2023, the 2024 QS ranking has reached a new high in terms of both the coverage of countries/regions and the number of master’s programs involved. The MSc in Data Science remains competitive in the fiercer competition and registers a better performance in the single item “employability.” Its 2022 graduates are all employed with an average salary of RMB 342,000 per year, showing a stable strength in the market. The MSc in Data Science ranks 32nd in the global QS Master’s in Business Analytics Ranking.

The Qs ranking is determined by five key indicators for every master’s program. The MSc in Data Science performs better than the global average in employability, alum outcomes, and thought leadership. In particular, it scores as high as 90 points in terms of “employability,” which almost doubles the global average of 48.3 points.
