The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Office (IEO) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) was established in July 2024. The office is a specialized, comprehensive, multi-level, and integrated platform for innovation and entrepreneurship services, formed through the merger of the Technology Transfer Center (TTC) and the Center for Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship (CIDE). The main functions of IEO include technology transfer services and management, intellectual property operation and management, innovation and entrepreneurship talent development, and incubation services and management. Leveraging resources in the university, IEO serves as a bridge between stakeholders including the government, industry, education, research, finance, agencies, trade, and media. It aims to establish a robust support system for innovation and entrepreneurship, creating a demand-driven, globally leading, and comprehensive ecosystem.
