Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development of curricula for new Collaborative Double Major Programmes (CDMP), and coordinate related student records and T&L arrangements;
2. Support and promote the development of undergraduate academic programmes/projects in collaboration with CUHK;
3. Provide support for meetings, including organizing meetings, reviewing documents, taking minutes, and following up after meetings;
4. Compile, update, archive and disseminate the latest academic policy documents, periodically review policies and revise as necessary; provide Chinese translation as required;
5. Liaise and communicate with academic staff, students, other University departments, and government officials; and
6. Perform other duties assigned by supervisors, including but not limited to the establishment of new schools, application for new programmes, curriculum development for double major programmes, assisting in the establishment and development of other types of undergraduate programmes, report writing, website management, and event organization.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A Bachelor’s degree or above;
2. At least 6 years of post-qualification executive experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions. Experience in committee service, policy formulation and management, curriculum planning, teaching & learning administration is highly desirable;
3. Exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, coupled with strong communication and writing skills;
4. Outstanding interpersonal skills with strong organizational and coordination capabilities;
5. Demonstrated team spirit, psychological resilience, and self-motivation, along with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative;
6. Excellent in overall planning, time management, task management, and stress management; and
7. High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing and data analysis, with a preference for proficiency in utilizing AI technology to enhance work efficiency.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
