Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Overall coordinate the whole process of degree thesis review to ensure smooth connection and progress of each link.
2. Strictly control each step of the review according to academic norms and relevant requirements to ensure that the entire review process is compliant.
3. Promote the establishment of a sound degree thesis management system, covering all aspects from thesis submission, review arrangement to result archiving. By optimizing the functions and processes of the system, improve the quality of degree theses and the overall management level, and enhance the credibility of review results.
4. Assist in formulating and improving the external review system and processes, put forward reasonable suggestions based on the actual situation, and continuously improve the quality of degree theses and the overall management level.
5. To undertake other assignments assigned by the School Manager and Deans.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Hold a master's degree or above, 5 years’ relevant working experience.
2. Those with some work experience in degree thesis review or academic management are preferred.
3. Possess strong communication and coordination skills and be able to properly handle various problems and disagreements in the review work.
4. Have good organizational and management abilities to ensure that the review work is completed on time, orderly and efficiently.
5. Have a strong sense of responsibility, maintain a rigorous, objective and fair attitude to ensure the reliability of the review results.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
