Laboratory Introduction
We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join the collaborative team led by Prof. David Chan and Prof. Juan Du at the School of Medicine, CUHK-SZ. Our research focuses on:
- Genetic and epigenetic mechanisms in cancer
- Tumor microenvironment and its influence on chemoresistance and metastasis
- Advances in precision cancer medicine
- The interplay between calcium signaling, cell function, and cancer
- The role of tumor exosomes in cancer progression
- Nanotechnology in drug delivery
- Genomic analysis and organoid-based drug screening for cancer therapy
- Exosome application in cancer diagnosis
- Discovery of natural AMPK activators for potential cancer and metabolic disease treatments

Post Doc Fellows
Job Description
Applicants should have:
1. Hold a Ph.D. in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related field, with the ability to commence work promptly;
2. Authored first-author research articles in high-impact SCI journals during doctoral studies;
3. Passionate about scientific research, eager to learn and self-improve, with good English writing skill;
4. Proficiency in standard biological and animal experimental techniques is desired, with a preference for candidates skilled in viral transfection, protein-protein interactions, and multi-omics data analysis.
Job Duties include:
1. Collaborate with the project leader to develop research plans, independently conduct research, and publish high-quality academic papers;
2. Assist the project leader in mentoring graduate students with their experiments;
3. Support the research group's development, including participation in the application for research projects and related activities.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will be comparable to international standards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen, and employee benefits will be provided according to the relevant labor laws of Mainland China as well as CUHK-Shenzhen regulations.
