Open Rank Faculty Position in Information Technology (Ref. AC2024/048/01)

Associate Professor (Teaching)/Assistant Professor (Teaching)/Lecturer (Teaching-stream)

The appointee is expected to teach and design Information Technology-related general education courses at first. After that, the appointee may be required to teach language and social science-related technology courses. The appointee is also expected to collaborate with other colleagues in teaching. The appointee is expected to commence work in AY2025-26.

Applicants should have:

a)  a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management or equivalent;

b)  proven record of teaching experience at tertiary level;

c)  strong interest in inter-disciplinary teaching;

d)  strong interest in curriculum design;

e)  experience in online teaching pedagogies is an added advantage;

f)  a good command of English.

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China.
