Sr. Manager (Marketing and Communication) - School of Data Science (Ref. 2025/002/01)
Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies to enhance the school’s branding and global academic visibility;
2. Leading and managing the marketing team, providing daily guidance and feedback to ensure the team efficiently achieves work objectives;
3. Responsible for creating and managing school promotional content suitable for websites, media, and social media platforms;
4. Planning, organizing, and managing school events to ensure their smooth progress and achievement of the school’s set promotional goals;
5. Managing the costs and budgets for department operations, activities, and promotions;
6. Other tasks assigned by superiors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Media, or related field;
2. 8 years of relevant work experience, including at least one to two years of team management experience;
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to motivate team members to collaborate efficiently and drive the progress of various tasks, ensuring accurate and smooth external communication;
4. Strong project management skills, ensuring the team completes tasks on time under certain pressure and achieves the expected outcomes of events;
5. Familiar with social media platforms, capable of effectively planning and using social media to promote the school’s brand;
6. Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
